Ibiza Town

✔ Best area to stay in Ibiza for sightseeing & nightlife

First-time visitors typically stay in Ibiza Town. It’s the capital of the island and home to the top things to do in Ibiza. If you’re in the mood to visit a Gothic-style cathedral, walk to the old quarter of Dalt Villa. The architecture and cobbled streets give the Old Town of Ibiza a classic Spanish atmosphere.

Ibiza Castle

When you’re ready to shop or party, head over to the harbour. Resorts, villas, and a wide variety of commercial establishments crowd together near the shore. Clubs, restaurants, and boutiques are clustered on the hillside overlooking the water.

As you walk away from the shore, you’ll find a modern town with upscale lounges and restaurants. There are also a few small shopping complexes with cafes and jewellery stores.

In the evening, Ibiza Town offers the most riotous nightlife on the island. While the government has cracked down on clubbing in recent years, Ibiza town is still home to wild parties and regularly hosts some of the hottest DJs on the planet.
